BACKGROUND: Angie was born and raised in Oxnard and spent 5 years studying in Mexico.
EDUCATION: Angie attended Oxnard College for several years and was the founder and president of the College’s Latino Business club. After winning a State business plan student competition, she was awarded a scholarship to attend the Emerging Business Leaders Summit – EBLS, by the National Minority Enterprise Development and the National Minority Youth Entrepreneur program by the MBDA (Minority Business Development Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce) in Washington D.C. during the summer of 2004. Angie graduated from California Lutheran University with a B.S. in Business Management. She is also a graduate of the Women’s Economic Venture program.

LICENSES: Angie holds a CA Real Estate Broker License and is also a Notary Public and Loan Document Notary as well as an experienced translator. She has a professional designation in Human Resources Management from UCLA Extension.
